EastWest Horizons, a new programme by EastWest Bank, offers personalised banking services and lifestyle rewards for emerging affluent clients in the Philippines, signalling a shift towards customised financial solutions amid increasing wealth complexity.
For many ambitious women, the hardest part of success is not reaching a milestone but deciding what comes after it. A promotion, a first home, a growing portfolio or a long-awaited trip can all feel like proof that the plan is working. But as life becomes more complex, success tends to shift from single achievements to something broader: more freedom, more control and a financial set-up that can keep pace.
That is the thinking behind EastWest Horizons, according to EastWest Bank and reports from Philippine business and lifestyle outlets. The programme is aimed at emerging affluent clients in the Philippines, meaning people who are building wealth and now need more than a standard current or savings account. EastWest says members can access a dedicated relationship officer, investment specialists, priority branch service and a credit card bundle, subject to evaluation and approval. The bank also positions the offer as a way to make banking feel more personal and less transactional.
The entry point is a minimum average daily balance of ₱100,000 in fresh funds in a regular savings or checking account, according to EastWest’s programme details. Clients who build a total relationship balance of ₱500,000, with at least 20% held in a regular deposit account, can unlock additional perks. Those include free monthly InstaPay transfers, faster servicing in branches and a one-time coffee e-gift, which the bank frames as part of a wider lifestyle rewards package.
For customers, especially professionals and entrepreneurs whose finances are becoming more layered, the appeal is straightforward: less time spent on routine banking, and more support around decisions that affect saving and investing. That matters because the value of a banking relationship often lies not just in products, but in access, speed and advice when money starts to do more than just sit in an account. In that sense, Horizons reflects a wider shift in banking towards tailored services for specific client segments rather than one-size-fits-all offerings.
