Bajaj Finance unveils new interest-rate details, repayment options, and an online calculator to help borrowers plan gold loans more effectively, with rates starting at 9.50% annually and flexible repayment tenures up to 12 months.
Bajaj Finance has set out how borrowers can use interest-rate details, repayment terms and online calculators to plan a gold loan more effectively. The lender says eligible customers can borrow from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 2 crore against gold jewellery, ornaments and coins, with the final amount depending on valuation, loan-to-value limits and eligibility checks.
According to the company, gold loan interest rates start from 9.50% a year, and that rate has a direct bearing on the total interest a borrower pays over the life of the loan. Bajaj Finance says repayment tenures for interest-servicing plans can run from one day to 12 months, giving customers flexibility to match repayment with their cash flow.
The lender also points borrowers to its online gold loan calculator, which estimates interest repayment after the user enters the loan amount, rate and tenure. Bajaj Finance says a separate gold rate calculator can help estimate how much a pledged item might support, but the final loan value is confirmed only after physical assessment of the gold, including purity, eligible weight and the lender’s valuation method. The company adds that fees and other charges should be checked separately.
