Titan’s jewellery division sees accelerated growth driven by festive demand and international expansion

Titan Company reports a 30% rise in jewellery revenue and a 68% increase in profit in Q1, driven by festive demand, international growth, and higher purchase values, as it continues its expansion strategy globally.

Titan Company said its jewellery business delivered robust growth in the first fiscal quarter, lifted by healthy festive demand and a stable gold price environment that appeared to support buyer confidence. Revenue from the segment rose 30% from a year earlier to INR 190 billion, while profit increased 68% to INR 23.6 billion. The company also said higher average purchase values played a significant role in the improvement.

The growth was broad-based across the business. Domestic jewellery sales climbed 38%, while international operations rose 136%, according to Titan. Consolidated sales, including subsidiaries, increased 29% to INR 215.02 billion and profit jumped 68% to INR 17.77 billion. Titan said all of its portfolio brands performed well as festive demand remained firm.

The company’s watch division also posted gains, with revenue up 21% to INR 15.43 billion. Titan, part of the Tata Group, also sells eyewear and other products. During the quarter it added a net 34 stores, including 33 in India across CaratLane, Tanishq, Mia, Zoya and beYon, and two in the Gulf Cooperation Council, while closing one Damas outlet.

The results fit a longer pattern of expansion for Titan. Livemint reported that the company posted 22% revenue growth in the third quarter of fiscal 2024, helped by more buyers and modestly higher selling prices, and later described fiscal 2026 as a year of strong top-line growth driven largely by jewellery. The company has also said it aims to double the size of its business by fiscal 2030 through premiumisation and overseas growth.
