NHC Foods stock hits 52-week high on strong Q1 results and overseas expansion

NHC Foods shares surged to a 52-week high following robust first-quarter earnings and strategic acquisitions, signalling a significant boost in its global trading ambitions.

NHC Foods shares have extended their recent rally after the company reported sharply stronger first-quarter numbers and fresh progress on its overseas expansion plans. The agri-products exporter said net revenue for the quarter rose 234.54% year on year to Rs 369.69 crore, helping lift sentiment around the counter and pushing it to a fresh 52-week high. The stock ended 4.41% higher at Rs 1.42 on the BSE, giving the company a market value of Rs 108.19 crore.

The latest results showed a net profit of Rs 16.99 crore, up 919.81% from a year earlier, while earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation came in at Rs 21.29 crore. Earnings per share improved to Rs 0.60 from Rs 0.03. Market data cited in the report showed the share price has climbed about 30% in the past month and roughly 59% so far in 2026, after touching its 52-week low of Rs 0.59 on March 30.

Investor interest has also been supported by the company’s overseas push. NHC Foods disclosed in a BSE filing that its Dubai-based subsidiary, NHC International L.L.C-FZ, acquired full ownership of Hong Kong-registered Conquer Enterprises Limited with effect from March 11, 2026. According to reporting by Scanx and Dealroom, the deal was valued at US$129,032 and was completed through a mix of share purchase and fresh allotment, giving the subsidiary 1,000,000 ordinary shares in total.

Conquer Enterprises was incorporated in June 2022 and trades in metals, steel products and agro commodities. The company said the acquisition is intended to deepen its international trading reach, broaden its product mix and support growth in overseas markets. Separately, earlier market commentary noted that NHC Foods’ return on equity stood at 26.12%, underlining the sharp improvement in profitability alongside the share-price momentum.
