Genesys International Corporation Ltd. has announced its rights issue, offering over 250 million shares at ₹50 each to raise approximately ₹125 crore, with trading in rights entitlements beginning this month.
Genesys International Corporation Ltd. has set the terms of its rights issue, offering 2,50,74,226 equity shares to raise as much as ₹125.37 crore. The issue opens on August 14, 2026, and closes on August 21, 2026, with shareholders on record as of August 6 set to receive rights entitlements that can either be exercised or traded briefly on the stock market before they expire.
The company fixed the issue price at ₹50 a share and the entitlement ratio at 3 rights shares for every 5 held. Investors who owned the stock on or before August 5 will be eligible for the entitlements, since the shares trade ex-rights on August 6. The rights entitlement symbol will be GENESYS-RE, and trading in the entitlements is scheduled to run from August 14 to August 18.
The company has said allotment of the rights shares is tentatively due on August 24, with listing and credit expected on August 25. Applications may be made through net banking ASBA or by submitting forms to a self-certified syndicate bank branch, and applicants must provide the 16-digit beneficiary owner ID linked to their demat account. Any rights entitlements left unused after the trading window closes will lapse, meaning investors would lose any premium paid to acquire them.
The latest timetable follows the board’s earlier approval on June 26, when Genesys said it planned to raise up to ₹139.3 crore through a rights issue and that the final terms would be decided later by the board or a rights issue committee. Company disclosures at the time said the offering would proceed in line with the Companies Act, 2013 and SEBI’s ICDR rules.
