Cars24 has launched Deployment Inc, a new company backed by $5 million in seed funding, aiming to help enterprises seamlessly embed AI into their operations through specialised deployment services, marking a significant step in scaling AI solutions across multiple industries.
Cars24 has turned one of its internal artificial intelligence bets into a standalone company, launching Deployment Inc with $5 million in seed funding from the used-car marketplace as it seeks to help enterprises move from AI experiments to production systems.
The new venture will be led by Cars24 executive Jayesh Gupta and Aayush Gupta, a former backend engineering specialist at xAI. According to Inc42, Deployment Inc plans to hire 50 engineers this month, alongside specialists in AI strategy and go-to-market roles, and will focus first on sectors including banking, financial services and insurance, healthcare, manufacturing and logistics.
The company’s pitch centres on forward deployed engineers, or FDEs, a model in which engineers work closely with customers inside their organisations to connect AI tools to existing data, systems and workflows. Deployment Inc says this approach is designed to close a common gap in enterprise AI: many companies can pilot models, but far fewer can reliably embed them into day-to-day operations and measure the business impact. Cars24 chief executive Vikram Chopra said, “Every enterprise will soon have access to powerful AI models. The scarce capability will be knowing how to turn them into systems that customers and employees can depend on.”
Cars24 says the business has emerged from its own internal AI operating model, which it uses to speed up work across the company. In a statement highlighted by OpenAI, Cars24 said its AI-powered agents handle more than 1 million minutes of customer conversations each month, lifting support resolution rates by 50% and cutting turnaround times by 80% in key service workflows. Business Standard reported in July that the company processed more than 1.1 trillion AI tokens in the April-June 2026 quarter, nearly triple its usage over the previous two quarters, with AI spending rising to 8.88% of its central salary run-rate from 2.17% two quarters earlier.
The launch also fits into a broader push by Cars24 into artificial intelligence. In June, Business Standard reported that the company set up AI Labs and pledged $20 million to back AI start-ups and founders. Deployment Inc has also been named an OpenAI Select Partner for enterprise deployments, giving it access to frontier model capabilities as it targets the widening market for companies looking to move AI from proof of concept to scaled deployment.
