More than 90 companies in India are scheduled to reward shareholders with significant dividend payouts over a five-day period in August 2026, highlighting a busy season for income-focused investors amid T+1 settlement date overlaps.
More than 90 companies across the Indian market are scheduled to reward shareholders with dividends between August 10 and August 14, 2026, according to TV9 Hindi. The payouts include both final and interim dividends, and in several cases the amounts are unusually large, crossing ₹20 or even ₹30 a share. For investors, the key dates are the ex-dividend date and the record date, which determine whether a share purchase still qualifies for the payout. In India’s T+1 settlement system, those dates now often fall on the same day.
The heaviest concentration of payouts begins on August 10 and August 11. Among the companies due on August 10 are Indus Towers, which is set to pay ₹14 a share, Majestic Auto at ₹25 and PTC India at ₹23, along with Rights, Styrenix Performance Materials and West Coast Paper Mills. On August 11, some of the larger announced dividends include Godfrey Phillips India at ₹33 a share, Gland Pharma at ₹20 and Kirloskar Industries at ₹13, while Castrol India is scheduled to distribute an interim dividend of ₹6.25. TV9 Hindi also notes that some firms have yet to disclose the amount of their dividend.
The schedule remains busy on August 12 and August 13. Companies lined up for August 12 include Industrial and Prudential Investment Company, which has announced a ₹120 dividend, as well as KPIT Technologies, Neelamalai Agro Industries and Narmada Gelatines. On August 13, payouts are due from Bharat Electronics, Godrej Consumer Products, Power Grid Corporation of India, RailTel Corporation of India, Usha Martin and several others. The day also includes a ₹5 interim dividend from Godrej Consumer Products and a ₹1.25 final dividend from Power Grid.
The final day in the window, August 14, includes another broad mix of industrial, financial and consumer names. TV9 Hindi lists dividend declarations from Apollo Hospitals Enterprise, Hindustan Aeronautics, Hindustan Petroleum, Indian Oil Corporation, Federal Bank, REC, RBL Bank and NCC, among others. REC’s ₹1.55 dividend is also confirmed on its dividend page, which shows both the ex-dividend and record date as August 14, 2026. For investors tracking income opportunities, the message is straightforward: ownership has to be in place before the ex-dividend date, or the dividend will not be received.
