India’s Q1 earnings season accelerates with over 1,600 companies reporting next week

India’s corporate earnings season heats up next week, with 1,690 companies set to release first-quarter results, offering a comprehensive view of domestic demand, margins, and spending trends across sectors.

India’s earnings season is set to gather pace next week, with the BSE results calendar showing 1,690 companies due to publish first-quarter numbers for financial year 2026-27 between August 10 and August 14. The schedule spans everything from large industrial groups and consumer names to smaller listed firms, underlining how crowded the reporting window is for investors trying to assess the strength of corporate demand, margins and spending trends.

Among the most closely watched names are Bharat Forge, Bosch, AstraZeneca India, Vodafone Idea, Hindustan Copper, Gland Pharma, Info Edge, IRCTC, Titagarh Rail Systems, Titan Company and United Spirits, according to Goodreturns. The breadth of the list means traders and analysts will be tracking not just headline profit figures but also management commentary on demand, pricing power and the outlook for the rest of the year.

The first major batch comes on August 10, when companies including Bharat Forge, Bosch, Gland Pharma, Hindustan Copper and Vodafone Idea are scheduled to report. August 11 follows with another dense slate that includes MRF, Siemens and RVNL, while August 12 features several larger market names such as Abbott India, Apollo Hospitals, Astral, Balkrishna Industries, Grasim Industries, Hindustan Aeronautics, IRCON International, IRCTC, Petronet LNG, Titagarh Rail Systems, Triveni Engineering & Industries, Vesuvius India and Va Tech Wabag. The calendar then peaks again on August 13 and August 14, when companies including Godrej Industries, Indian Oil-linked entities, Jindal Stainless, Jubilant FoodWorks, Page Industries, Solar Industries India, Sundaram Finance, Titan Company, Ashok Leyland, Asian Paints, Bharat Dynamics, Natco Pharma, PTC India, Rainbow Children’s Medicare, Tube Investments of India, UFLEX, Vardhman Textiles, VRL Logistics and Zee Media are due to release results.

For the market, the significance of the week lies less in any single print than in the cumulative picture it will provide. A wave of results from lenders, manufacturers, infrastructure groups, pharma companies, consumer businesses and transport-related firms should help show whether domestic demand remains resilient and whether input costs, tariffs and uneven rural conditions are still shaping corporate performance.
