India’s primary market is set for a hectic week with nine new IPOs opening for subscription and eight companies debuting on the bourses, signalling a dynamic phase for investors tracking both large and smaller issues.
India’s primary market is set for a busy week, with 9 new initial public offerings opening for subscription and 8 companies scheduled to debut on the bourses. Activity is spread across both the main board and SME platforms, signalling another crowded stretch for investors tracking fresh issues and listings.
Among the main-board offerings already under way are Dhoot Transmission and Molbio Diagnostics, both of which opened on Monday and will close on August 12. According to investor-gain and company filings, Dhoot Transmission is seeking roughly ₹1,400 crore through a mix of new shares and secondary sale, with proceeds earmarked for debt reduction, subsidiary investments and new plants in Haryana and Tamil Nadu. Molbio Diagnostics, meanwhile, is aiming to raise ₹200 crore through a fresh issue, alongside an offer for sale of 1.25 crore shares, and plans to use the money for a new research and development centre, capacity expansion and general corporate purposes.
On August 11, Milky Mist Dairy Foods is due to launch its issue. The dairy producer is looking to raise about ₹1,553 crore, including ₹1,428 crore via fresh shares and ₹125 crore through an offer for sale. Its price band has been set at ₹133 to ₹140 a share. Two more main-board issues, from Shiprocket and Bihari Lal Engineering, are set to open on August 12. Shiprocket has fixed a price band of ₹92 to ₹97 a share as it targets about ₹1,617.5 crore, while Bihari Lal Engineering has priced its issue at ₹271 to ₹285 a share.
The SME segment is also active, with four new offerings lined up. Fascinate Textiles plans to raise ₹67 crore at a price band of ₹148 to ₹156 a share, while Sham Foam will come to market at a fixed price of ₹130 a share to raise about ₹40.5 crore. Pramodini Medicare and Q&Q Foods are also scheduled to launch on August 12.
Listings will add to the pace later in the week. RD Industries is set to list on August 12 on the main board, while Technocraft Ventures and Leap India are due to debut on August 14. In the SME space, Anvil Wire and Engineering lists on August 10, Aegis Technologies on August 11, GV Electricals on August 12 and LAPL Automotive on August 13, with Optimistics Entertainment India scheduled for August 14.
The flurry of launches and listings is expected to keep attention fixed on subscription levels, grey market premium and opening-day performance. For investors, the week offers both breadth and concentration, with large main-board names and smaller SME issues competing for capital at the same time.
