India’s primary market gears up for a dynamic week from August 10 to 14, with nine companies set to raise approximately ₹7,681 crore through IPOs on mainboard and SME segments, indicating persistent momentum despite cautious investor sentiment.
India’s primary market is set for a busy week from August 10 to 14, with nine companies preparing to tap investors across the mainboard and SME segments, according to TV9 Hindi and Moneycontrol. Together, the offerings are expected to raise about ₹7,681 crore, underscoring how quickly new listings continue to arrive even as investors weigh demand, valuations and the broader market backdrop.
The largest issue in the line-up will come from Dhoot Transmission, which plans to open its share sale on August 10 and close it on August 12. The company has fixed a price band of ₹829 to ₹871 a share and is seeking roughly ₹3,066.89 crore, making it the week’s biggest fundraising. Moneycontrol said the proceeds are intended to support expansion and reduce debt, a use of funds that investors will typically watch closely in capital-intensive businesses.
Milky Mist Dairy Food will follow on August 11, with its issue running through August 13. The company aims to raise ₹1,553 crore, including a fresh issue of ₹1,428 crore and an offer for sale of ₹125 crore, with money earmarked for debt repayment, expansion and general corporate purposes, according to Moneycontrol. Molbio Diagnostics will open on August 10 and close on August 12, with a price band of ₹768 to ₹807 and a target of ₹939.70 crore, while Shiprocket’s issue is scheduled for August 12 to 14 at a price band of ₹92 to ₹97, seeking ₹1,617.48 crore, including a mix of new shares and secondary sales.
The week will not be limited to the mainboard. SME offerings from Shyam Foam and Fascinate Textiles are due to open on August 13, followed by Q and T Foods and Pramodini Medicare on August 14, TV9 Hindi reported. The cluster of launches points to sustained momentum in India’s IPO market, although the usual caution remains: issue documents, business fundamentals and valuation deserve close scrutiny before any investment decision.
