Rashi Peripherals sets record date and announces robust dividend amid stock surge

Rashi Peripherals Ltd has announced August 14, 2026, as the record date for its latest dividend, coinciding with a 212% stock rally and strong quarterly growth, as the company expands into semiconductor solutions through a joint venture with Japan’s Restar Corporation.

Rashi Peripherals Ltd has fixed August 14, 2026, as the record date for shareholders to qualify for its latest dividend, according to the company’s announcement. The board had earlier recommended a dividend of Rs 2 per equity share of face value Rs 5, which works out to a 40% payout. Moneycontrol said the company has made two dividend declarations since August 2024, while Goodreturns shows a pattern of regular final dividends over the past three years.

The announcement comes after a sharp run-up in the stock. Zee Business reported that Rashi Peripherals has gained 212.19% over the past year, closing at Rs 893.80 on August 7, 2026, not far below its 52-week high of Rs 951.45. The shares’ 52-week low was Rs 275, underscoring how quickly investor sentiment has shifted around the stock in the past 12 months.

Founded in 1989, Rashi Peripherals operates in information and communications technology distribution and after-sales services. Its latest quarterly update pointed to a strong operational backdrop, with Q1 FY27 revenue rising 61.9% year-on-year to Rs 51,019 million, EBITDA up 50% to Rs 1,553 million and net profit climbing 69.5% to Rs 1,046 million. The company also said it posted its best annualised return on capital employed and return on equity since listing.

Management has been leaning into growth areas beyond core distribution. Zee Business reported that Rashi Peripherals has entered a joint venture with Japan’s Restar Corporation to strengthen its semiconductor and embedded solutions business. Under the plan, the semiconductor division will be housed in a wholly owned subsidiary in Bengaluru and a step-down subsidiary in Singapore, with Restar taking a 26% stake and operations due to begin in October 2026.
