Siemens Energy India reports a significant boost in third-quarter profit driven by stronger execution and an expanding order book, amid rising renewable deployment and energy demand in the country.
Siemens Energy India Limited posted a sharp rise in third-quarter profit as stronger execution and a growing order book lifted results for the period ended June 2026. Revenue from operations climbed 39.3% year on year to ₹2,486 crore, while profit after tax rose 67.8% to ₹441 crore and operating profit increased 73.6% to ₹545 crore, according to the company’s latest results. The margin on operations improved to 21.9% from 17.6% a year earlier, reflecting better leverage, a larger export contribution and tighter project delivery.
The company also said its backlog of orders increased 16.4% from a year earlier to ₹19,331 crore, giving it greater visibility for coming quarters. For the nine months ended June 2026, revenue reached ₹6,791 crore, up 31.1% from the previous year, while profit after tax rose 52.2% to ₹1,128 crore and operating profit increased 49.2% to ₹1,437 crore. Earlier in the year, Siemens Energy India reported revenue of ₹2,394 crore for the second quarter of FY2026, up 27.4% year on year, with profit after tax of ₹375 crore and an order backlog of ₹18,433 crore, showing a steady build in demand through the financial year.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Guilherme Mendonca said the quarterly performance reflected the strength of the company’s model and disciplined execution. He said rising renewable energy deployment in India, global electricity demand from electrification, industrial expansion and AI-driven data centres are creating opportunities for grid technologies, flexible power systems and local manufacturing. Siemens Energy India said it is positioned to benefit from that demand while supporting the country’s energy transition.
