Nahar Spinning Mills has unveiled a dramatic year-on-year profit increase of over 337%, supported by enhanced sales and operational efficiency, alongside leadership extensions for key executives.
Nahar Spinning Mills has reported a steep rise in profit for the quarter to June 30, helped by stronger sales and a sharp improvement in operating performance. The integrated textile manufacturer said standalone net profit climbed 337.84% year on year to Rs.69.88 crore, up from Rs.15.96 crore a year earlier, while revenue from operations rose 17.92% to Rs.966.10 crore from Rs.819.28 crore.
The gains were even more pronounced at the operating level. According to the company’s results, standalone EBITDA more than doubled to Rs.127 crore from Rs.57.90 crore in the same period last year, lifting the EBITDA margin to 13.16% from 7.07%. On a sequential basis, revenue increased from Rs.916.82 crore in the March quarter, while net profit rose from Rs.23.42 crore, suggesting momentum improved as the new financial year began.
Alongside the earnings update, the board approved leadership extensions that will keep key figures in place for several more years, subject to shareholder approval. Dinesh Oswal was re-appointed managing director for five years from January 1, 2027, while Dr. Yash Paul Sachdeva and Dr. Anchal Kumar Jain were each re-appointed as independent directors for a second five-year term from August 24, 2027. Public company records also show that Oswal has long been associated with the business, which is based in Punjab and has operated for decades in India’s textile sector.
