LEAP India’s ₹2,480-crore initial public offering will open for subscription on August 7, with grey market sentiment pointing to a modest first-day gain. According to NDTV Profit and live GMP trackers, the unofficial premium stood at ₹9 on August 6, implying an estimated listing price of about ₹168 per share, or a gain of roughly 5.66% over the top end of the price band. Grey market premiums are informal and can change quickly, so they should not be treated as a reliable guide to the eventual listing outcome.

The issue comprises a fresh share sale of 3.02 crore shares worth ₹480 crore and an offer for sale of 12.58 crore shares valued at ₹2,000 crore. The price band has been fixed at ₹151-₹159 a share, and retail investors must apply for at least 94 shares, which works out to a minimum investment of ₹14,946 at the upper band. JM Financial is the book-running lead manager, while MUFG Intime India is the registrar.

The subscription window will close on August 11, with allotment expected on August 12. Refunds and demat credit are scheduled for August 13, and the shares are due to list on August 14. The company said it plans to use part of the proceeds to repay borrowings and for general corporate purposes.
