IIFL Capital Services has partnered with Flytxt to deploy agentic AI technology aimed at delivering more personalised investment recommendations, potentially transforming client engagement and supporting asset under management growth in India’s competitive financial landscape.
IIFL Capital Services has teamed up with Flytxt to use agentic AI to sharpen investor engagement and support assets under management growth through more targeted investment recommendations. The companies say the idea is to make advice and nudges more relevant to individual investors as financial services increasingly compete on personalisation rather than broad-brush product pushes.
For IIFL Capital, the tie-up fits a wider push to use technology more deeply across wealth and broking. The firm, which traces its roots back more than three decades, operates across wealth management, investment banking and institutional equities, and says it serves millions of customers through a large distribution network across India. For retail investors, that kind of scale matters because better data tools can make it easier for firms to spot what clients may be interested in and respond faster when markets move.
Flytxt says its AI platform is designed to do more than automate simple prompts. The company describes its system as an enterprise AI engine built to reason, learn and optimise, with privacy-preserved federated learning that keeps data local. It says it works with more than 80 enterprise customers in 50 countries, and that its financial services clients include banks, insurers, fintech firms and non-banking lenders.
The practical takeaway is straightforward: wealth managers are under pressure to make recommendations feel timely and useful, not generic. If the partnership works as intended, IIFL Capital could be better placed to match products and ideas to investor goals, risk appetite and behaviour patterns. That may not change the basic maths of investing, but in a market where client attention is hard to win, it could help the firm deepen relationships and support more consistent AUM growth.
