Jalin expands cardless cash withdrawal services amid Indonesia’s digital payments surge

PT Jalin Pembayaran Nusantara is broadening its Cardless Cash Withdrawal offerings through collaborations with banks and fintech firms, reflecting the fast-growing digital economy alongside persistent cash demand in Indonesia.

PT Jalin Pembayaran Nusantara is expanding cardless cash withdrawal services as Indonesia’s digital payments market continues to grow, but without erasing demand for physical cash. The service, known as Cardless Cash Withdrawal or CCW, lets users begin a transaction in a banking or fintech app and complete the withdrawal at an ATM network without inserting a card.

According to Media Indonesia, Jalin unveiled the collaboration at the Festival Ekonomi Keuangan Digital Indonesia and Indonesia Fintech Summit & Expo 2026, held at the Jakarta International Convention Centre in Jakarta from 24 to 26 September. Jalin signed cooperation agreements on CCW development with BCA Syariah, SeaBank, HiBank and several fintech institutions, broadening access to cash withdrawals through the Link ATM network.

The timing reflects a payments landscape in which digital usage is rising quickly even as cash remains important. Bank Indonesia said digital payment volumes reached 6.11 billion transactions in August 2026, up 40.36% from a year earlier, while mobile banking transactions rose 47.08% over the same period. At the same time, currency in circulation still increased 12.88% to Rp1,332tn, underscoring the coexistence of digital and cash-based habits.

Eko Dedi Rukminto, managing director of Jalin, said the shift to digital finance does not eliminate the need for physical access points. In comments quoted by Media Indonesia, he said banks and fintechs can expand services more efficiently by using existing infrastructure, while also giving customers broader access options. He added that the user experience is moving away from being defined by which provider controls the most physical channels, and towards systems in which apps and ATM networks work together.

Jalin is also widening its payments capabilities beyond CCW. During FEKDI x IFSE 2026, the company announced work on broader QRIS switching with Bank BJB and Yokke, QRIS Merchant Presented Mode connectivity on the Link network with AyoLinx, cross-border QRIS with Nobu Bank, a payment integrator with OK Bank and a mini ATM service with Bank BJB. The company says it now serves more than 120 banking and fintech members across its payments infrastructure, as the event itself was staged by Bank Indonesia, the Financial Services Authority, the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, ASPI and AFTECH to promote Indonesia’s digital economy.
