Bokra expands its digital financial services in Egypt by launching Sukuk Bokra, a flexible, Sharia-compliant savings product aimed at making Islamic investment options more accessible for everyday users.
Bokra is widening its push into digital saving with “Sukuk Bokra”, a product designed to let users build up money gradually in a way that complies with Islamic finance principles. The company says the offer is meant to make saving simpler and more flexible for individuals whose incomes and goals vary, while keeping investments tied to Sharia-compliant assets rather than conventional interest-bearing instruments.
The platform presents the product as part of a broader effort to make saving feel more accessible and more practical for everyday users. According to Bokra, its wider suite of offerings already includes options linked to gold, property and sukuk, all available through its digital platform, which it describes as fully licensed and supervised by Egypt’s Financial Regulatory Authority. The company says that structure is intended to give users a secure and transparent way to manage their money.
Bokra has been steadily adding products that repackage traditional savings ideas into digital form. Earlier this year, the company launched “Shakmageya”, a gold savings fund that allows customers to invest in 24-carat gold without taking physical possession of the metal, while still benefiting from movements in the gold price. The fund was presented as another step in Bokra’s attempt to anchor savings in real assets and broaden access to investment tools that had previously been less straightforward for ordinary savers.
The company says the long-term aim is to encourage a more disciplined savings culture and help users plan for future goals with products that better match their financial circumstances. Bokra has also highlighted the growth of its platform, saying it serves tens of thousands of clients and has attracted significant interest in sukuk investing through its app. It has also pointed to partnerships in the wider fintech sector as part of a broader effort to expand digital financial services in Egypt.
