Indian AI stocks rise as Tanla Platforms integrates blockchain and real-time fraud detection

Investor enthusiasm for AI is boosting Indian shares, with Tanla Platforms pioneering blockchain-enabled messaging and AI-driven fraud detection to capitalise on growing enterprise automation demand.

Investor enthusiasm for artificial intelligence has helped lift global markets, and the excitement is increasingly reaching Indian shares tied to the theme. In that setting, Tanla Platforms stands out as a communications software business trying to turn everyday messaging into a higher-value AI offering. Its cloud-based services are built around automated customer interactions, while the company’s newer products are meant to deepen the link between enterprise communications and machine-led decision-making.

Tanla’s Wisely platform is pitched as an API-led system that brings together digital conversations across channels, with security and personalisation at its core, according to the company. Tanla says the platform uses blockchain features to improve transparency and has also worked with Microsoft on a blockchain-enabled communications platform built on Azure. The company has further expanded the suite with Wisely Insights, which is designed to give enterprises and regulators better visibility into message flow. Separately, Tanla says its Wisely ATP anti-phishing product uses AI and machine learning to identify SMS fraud in real time, with a claimed response time measured in milliseconds.

The broader appeal of the sector is not limited to messaging. KPIT Technologies is positioned around software for autonomous and connected vehicles, combining perception, planning and cloud integration across the car technology stack. That makes it part of the wider AI trade, but also exposes it to a different set of execution risks, particularly around the pace at which customers move from conventional development work to more fixed-price, solutions-led contracts.

Newgen Software Technologies offers another route into enterprise AI, this time through workflow and document automation. Its NewgenONE platform is aimed at banks, insurers and public-sector clients that want to automate repetitive processes and shift more work into subscription-style software. The company says demand for AI-led workflow tools is rising as businesses push further into cloud adoption and automation, but the key question for investors is whether that interest converts into durable recurring revenue rather than one-off licence sales.
