Ringg AI has raised an additional $10 million in its Series A extension, aiming to enhance its conversational AI platform and accelerate expansion into international markets, leveraging its advanced voice and chat agents.
Ringg AI has raised $10 million in an extension to its Series A round, with Peak XV Partners leading the latest cheque and Arkam Ventures and Capital 2B also taking part, according to the company. The Bengaluru-based startup said the new money will help it strengthen its platform, broaden its voice, WhatsApp and browser-based agents, and push further into India and overseas markets.
The raise lifts the round’s overall size to $15.5 million, after Ringg had already brought in $5.5 million earlier this year, according to reporting by The Economic Times and TechCrunch. Ringg was founded in 2023 by Siddharth Tripathi, Kali Charan Vemuru and Utkarsh Shukla, and it counts Policybazaar, CRED, Flipkart, Groww and Practo among its customers.
Ringg is positioning itself as more than a voice bot provider. The company says its agents are designed to handle customer conversations and then carry the resulting work through to completion, including tasks such as lead qualification, onboarding, support, collections and renewals. It claims its systems keep context across calls, messaging and browser interactions, allowing human staff to step in when needed.
Tripathi said enterprises care less about flashy demonstrations than measurable gains in operational efficiency, faster resolution times and better lead conversion. Vemuru said the company has deliberately targeted difficult use cases first, arguing that a system that can cope with noisy calls, language switching and real workflows should be adaptable across markets. Ringg is also building more of its own underlying technology, including its speech-to-text model, Parrot, and later small language models, while offering in-region and on-premises deployment options for organisations concerned about compliance, cost control and data residency.
