UniCredit Consumer Financing in Bulgaria launches a new online payment platform allowing customers to make loan repayments anytime, anywhere, with added convenience and security.
UniCredit Consumer Financing has launched an online payment platform that allows customers in Bulgaria to make repayments on consumer and goods loans around the clock without visiting a branch, according to the company and UniCredit Bulbank’s website. The service is aimed at making instalment payments faster and simpler, while keeping the process fee-free for customers.
Payments can be made with debit or credit cards, or through Apple Pay and Google Pay. Users enter their credit agreement number and follow a short series of steps to complete the transaction, with the bank saying the platform is designed to combine convenience with security and accessibility.
Ekaterina Panayotova, chief executive of UniCredit Consumer Financing and deputy head of retail banking at UniCredit Bulbank, said the move is part of a wider effort to improve customer experience and make servicing loans more digital. Her comments fit a broader push by UniCredit to expand electronic payment options across its markets, including online payments and digital wallet services in Italy and fully online financing channels in Romania.
The latest launch also reflects a wider shift in consumer finance towards self-service tools that reduce the need for in-person banking. By allowing repayments to be handled from a phone or computer at any time, UniCredit is positioning the service as a practical option for customers seeking more flexible ways to manage debt.
