Superleap secures INR 36 crore to challenge legacy CRMs with AI-native platform in India

Bengaluru-based Superleap has raised INR 36 crore in its pre-Series A round to accelerate its AI-led CRM platform’s growth and adoption across diverse sectors in India, promising a faster, less disruptive alternative to traditional systems.

Superleap, a Bengaluru-based enterprise software start-up positioning itself as an artificial intelligence-native alternative to conventional customer relationship management systems, has raised INR 36 crore in a pre-Series A round led by Peak XV’s Surge. The company said the capital will be used to expand its enterprise sales push, deepen product development and accelerate its effort to build an AI-first CRM category in India.

The fundraise comes as CRM software increasingly shifts from being a static database into a more active part of the sales process. Superleap says its platform is designed to replace older systems with a quicker, AI-centred architecture that can be deployed in weeks rather than months. The company claims that approach reduces disruption for customers while making it easier for sales teams to adopt the software in day-to-day work.

Superleap’s founders are building in a market they know well. Alok Maurya, Subham Kumar Boundia and Saurabh Maheshwari previously worked at Unacademy, where they dealt with legacy CRM tools before developing an internal system that sales teams actually used. Peak XV’s website says the trio later founded Altworld before returning to the enterprise software problem. Company data cited by The Company Check and CB Insights suggests Superleap was founded in 2024 and is based in Bengaluru, although Peak XV lists the business as founded in 2021, highlighting some inconsistency in public company records.

The company says it has grown 10-fold over the past year and now serves customers across financial services, software, education, healthcare, travel and hospitality, and media. Among the names it cites are Razorpay, Aakash Education, MediBuddy, HCL GUVI, Cars24, PagarBook, Plum, Qube Cinema and Superhealth. Superleap says Razorpay migrated more than 10 million data records to its platform in 45 days without interrupting operations, while Aakash Education moved about 5,000 counsellors across 400 locations in under 60 days. The company describes its system as a three-layer stack built around data, customer intelligence and automation, with tools including voice bots, conversational intelligence and integrations with WhatsApp, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Claude and ChatGPT.
