Ramco Industries shares surge after strong earnings momentum in Q1

Shares of Ramco Industries jumped 10% on Monday following a 31.9% rise in first-quarter net profit, driven by robust revenue and margin expansion, signalling positive market sentiment amid sustained earnings growth.

Ramco Industries shares jumped sharply on Monday after the company reported a strong rise in first-quarter profit, with investors pushing the stock to an intraday peak of Rs 383.40 before it eased to Rs 373.05, up 10% by 1:05 p.m., according to NDTV Profit.

The company said consolidated net profit for the June quarter climbed 31.9% year on year to Rs 86.6 crore, from Rs 65.6 crore a year earlier. Revenue from operations increased 15.5% to Rs 614 crore, while earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation rose 54.7% to Rs 105 crore. Margin expanded to 17.1% from 12.8%, helped in part by a one-time gain of Rs 9 crore during the quarter, the exchange filing showed.

The latest figures build on a stronger run for the company. Business Standard reported that Ramco Industries had already posted a sharp rise in profit in the March quarter of 2026, while full-year profit for that fiscal year also increased significantly. NDTV Profit added that the stock had risen 21.4% so far this year and 30.5% over the past 12 months, highlighting the market’s positive response to the recent earnings momentum.
