As Info Edge (India) approaches its first-quarter earnings on August 10, investors remain attentive to signs of sustained growth amid recent record performances and mixed forecasts for future earnings, hinting at cautious optimism for the online recruitment giant.
Info Edge (India) is heading into its first-quarter earnings on August 10, with investors watching whether the online recruitment company can build on a strong finish to the last financial year. GuruFocus said consensus expectations point to revenue of 8,376.39 million and earnings of 3.84 per share for the quarter, with full-year 2027 revenue forecast at 34,483.30 million and earnings at 18.40 per share.
The outlook has shifted modestly over the past 90 days. GuruFocus said revenue estimates for fiscal 2027 have edged up from 34,458.05 million to 34,483.30 million, while 2028 revenue expectations have risen from 38,756.98 million to 39,071.14 million. At the same time, earnings forecasts for 2027 have been cut from 19.91 per share to 18.40 per share, even as 2028 earnings estimates have ticked higher.
That caution sits alongside a record of solid recent operating performance. Business Standard reported that Info Edge posted revenue of ₹869.01 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2026, up 15.93% from a year earlier and 6.05% from the previous quarter. Operating profit climbed to ₹333.50 crore, while profit before tax rose to ₹868.70 crore, underscoring a sharp improvement in profitability.
The last reported quarter also beat expectations by a wide margin, according to GuruFocus. It said actual revenue of 8,590.05 million exceeded estimates by 8.37%, while earnings of 43.60 per share came in more than double forecasts. The shares rose 3.75% in the following session. On valuation, 18 analysts surveyed by GuruFocus put the average 12-month target at 1,363.61, implying about 10% upside from the current price of 1,240, while GuruFocus’ own GF Value estimate suggests a 34.63% gain. The consensus brokerage recommendation from 20 firms was 1.80, which indicates an outperform stance.
