India’s IPO pipeline accelerates with diverse approvals from SEBI

India’s primary market is gearing up for a busy phase as SEBI clears a broad range of initial public offerings across sectors including infrastructure, travel, gaming, drones, and renewable energy, signalling a widening of the market landscape.

India’s primary market is set for a busy spell after the Securities and Exchange Board of India cleared a fresh wave of listings across sectors ranging from infrastructure and travel technology to gaming, drones and renewable energy. According to reports from InformalNewz and other Indian business publications, the approvals underline how broad the IPO pipeline has become, with both established industrial groups and newer digital businesses preparing to tap investors.

Among the companies to secure regulatory clearance is Laxyo Railway Infrastructure, an Indore-based engineering and services group that plans a fresh issue of shares worth up to ₹150 crore. The company works across mining services, raise boring, dredging, reclamation and operations and maintenance, while also leasing machinery used in its own contracts when assets are idle.

Travel services platform SNVA Traveltech has also received approval after filing through the confidential pre-filing route in March. The company, founded in 2017, offers air ticketing, hotel bookings and related services to retail and corporate customers, and has operations in the US, UK, UAE and Singapore. Expression 360 Services India has likewise been cleared for an offer for sale of up to 15 million shares, although it has yet to disclose key launch details such as the price band and lot size.

Other names in the queue include PlaySimple Games, the Sweden-backed mobile gaming company, and Garuda Aerospace, which is preparing a larger fundraising that could total about ₹1,000 crore through a mix of new shares and an offer for sale. SEBI has also given its final observation on Naini Papers’ proposal, while Rediff.com India and Jackson Green are among the other companies reported to have secured regulatory approval.

The broader batch of IPO clearances shows that India’s market regulator continues to process offerings from a wide range of businesses. Recent reports from The Economic Times, Financial Express, Business Standard, Mint and NDTV Profit suggest that the approvals extend well beyond the nine names highlighted by InformalNewz, with companies in solar power, finance, real estate, logistics, chemicals, industrial parks and other sectors also moving towards the market.
