GetVantage secures Rs 63 crore to amplify embedded lending for small businesses

Mumbai-based fintech startup GetVantage raises Rs 63 crore in a Series A1 funding round, aiming to expand its small business financing platform and strengthen its role in embedded lending for merchants through innovative API solutions.

Mumbai-based fintech startup GetVantage has raised Rs 63 crore in a Series A1 mix of equity and debt, as it looks to expand its small business financing platform and deepen its role in embedded lending for merchants. The round was led by banking veteran Rajeev Ahuja and SanRaj Group, with existing backers Chiratae Ventures, Varanium Fintech Fund and VCMint also taking part, according to the company.

GetVantage said the latest transaction lifts its committed financing capacity to more than Rs 700 crore. The firm plans to use the capital to broaden operations and scale Capital Gateway, its application programming interface, or API, platform that lets B2B e-commerce businesses, online marketplaces and logistics companies offer financing to merchants inside their own ecosystems.

Founded by Amit Srivastava and Bhavik Vasa in 2019, the company says it uses cash-flow data, alternative signals and predictive analytics rather than relying only on collateral or traditional credit history. Its products include revenue-based financing, term loans, business loans and merchant cash advances, with ticket sizes from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 20 crore. Company and industry data indicate it has supported more than 2,000 businesses and focuses largely on digital-first firms across sectors including e-commerce, direct-to-consumer brands, B2B software, edtech and healthtech.

The new funding also comes after a series of targeted product and market moves. GetVantage launched a Rs 250 crore fund for B2B software as a service start-ups in January 2024 and followed that with a Rs 100 crore Rise-Up Fund for women-led businesses in March 2024. Dealroom data shows the firm also secured a non-banking financial company licence in May 2023 for its GetGrowth Capital arm, a step that should give it more flexibility as it expands lending.

The latest round adds to a funding history that has drawn support from a mix of financial and strategic investors over several years. According to CB Insights, Company Check and Dealroom, GetVantage has raised more than $41 million to date, reflecting continued investor interest in revenue-based financing models that aim to give smaller companies faster access to working capital without immediate equity dilution.
