Punjab National Bank partners with GYFTR to launch integrated digital rewards platform for credit card users

Punjab National Bank has inked a three-year agreement with GYFTR Limited to create a branded digital platform offering lifestyle benefits and merchant tie-ups for select credit cardholders, enhancing customer engagement and digital experience.

Punjab National Bank has signed a three-year deal with GYFTR Limited to build a branded digital rewards platform for select credit card customers, as lenders continue to deepen their push into lifestyle-led benefits and merchant tie-ups.

According to the announcement, the platform will bring together offers across shopping, food delivery, entertainment, dining and travel, with access routed through a PNB-branded digital service. GYFTR will handle the technology, operations and payment infrastructure, while the list of participating brands is expected to be refreshed over time in consultation with the bank.

Names that may appear on the platform include Amazon Prime, Swiggy One, SonyLIV, Starbucks, Domino’s, Myntra, Bata and PVR, though the final mix of offers can change. The idea is to give cardholders a single place to browse and redeem benefits tied to everyday spending as well as leisure and travel.

GYFTR co-founder and chief executive Arvind Prabhakar said the company sees the tie-up as a way to move beyond basic transactions and create a more engaging digital experience for bank customers. For PNB, the partnership adds another customer-facing channel as Indian banks look for new ways to keep card users active and linked to their wider digital ecosystems.
