Motorists can use bank portals, mobile apps and My FASTag to download detailed records of toll deductions, recharges and balances, while transaction references can help challenge incorrect charges and support expense claims.
FASTag users can now review toll deductions, recharge entries and balance movements more easily through bank portals, mobile apps and the official My FASTag service. The digital pass, which relies on RFID technology to speed through toll plazas, has become a routine part of highway travel in India, but the value of its statement goes beyond convenience. It gives motorists a record of where money was spent, helps confirm whether a toll was charged correctly and can support reimbursement claims for business travel.
A FASTag statement typically includes the toll plaza name, date and time of the crossing, the amount charged, the updated balance and a transaction reference number. According to guides from HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and IDFC First Bank, many providers also show vehicle registration details, merchant information and recharge history, making the statement a useful audit trail rather than just a payment log. That level of detail can matter if a driver needs to query a duplicate deduction or match toll spending against an expense report.
Most issuers allow users to download the statement through a customer portal or mobile app. The usual process is straightforward: sign in with the registered mobile number, user ID, wallet ID or vehicle details, open the statements or payment history section, choose a date range and export the record in PDF or Excel format. FASTag-login.com notes that some portals also allow quick lookup by vehicle number and OTP, which can be helpful when a driver wants a fast summary without going through full net banking.
The My FASTag app and similar banking apps offer another route for checking recent transactions on the move. Coverfox says motorists can review toll debits, recharges and balances by date, while bank-backed guides point out that app users can often switch between vehicles linked to the same wallet. That flexibility is useful for households or small businesses that keep more than one car on a single FASTag account.
If a charge looks wrong, the advice from issuer guides is to act quickly. Drivers should compare the statement with their own travel records, note the transaction reference number and toll location, and contact the National Highway helpline on 1033 or their bank’s customer care team. ICICI Bank and other providers say disputes can be raised through a service request or help centre with the downloaded statement attached, and any validated refund is generally credited back to the FASTag wallet after review.
