Even after the disposal, the pair remained the company’s largest public shareholders, BusinessLine reported.

The buyers included ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Invesco Mutual Fund, Polar Capital and Allianz Global Investors, which together picked up more than 1.51 crore shares, or close to a 5% stake, for about ₹761.60 crore. The stake sale came shortly after the company reported a strong first quarter, with consolidated profit after tax rising 44.6% year on year to ₹55.02 crore and revenue increasing 26% to ₹614.02 crore. The chain said it had expanded to 304 facilities across 10 countries and completed its biggest quarterly expansion of surgical centres. Earlier investor materials showed continued momentum through FY26, with revenue, EBITDA and profit all rising sharply as the network expanded and surgery volumes increased.
