Page Industries reports a 7.9% rise in revenue in Q1 FY27 driven by higher apparel volumes and steady consumer interest, even as net profit declines slightly owing to rising expenses, signalling ongoing business resilience amid a market recovery.
Page Industries Ltd, the innerwear and athleisure maker that holds the Jockey licence in several markets, reported stronger sales in the June quarter even as profit slipped from a year earlier. Revenue from operations rose 7.9% to Rs 1,420.44 crore in the first quarter of FY27, helped by higher apparel volumes and steady consumer demand, according to the company’s regulatory filing.
Net profit fell 4% to Rs 192.80 crore, from Rs 200.80 crore a year earlier, as expenses climbed faster than sales. Total income increased 7.48% to Rs 1,431.05 crore, while total expenses jumped 10.5% to Rs 1,172.48 crore. Sales volume grew 5.7% to 61.2 million pieces, showing that demand remained resilient across the company’s core innerwear, apparel, athleisure and activewear lines.
V S Ganesh, managing director, said consumer demand trends remained encouraging and pointed to positive reception for product improvements and new ranges. He added that the company’s push on operational excellence, digitalisation and the gradual ramp-up of new manufacturing capacity should support efficiency and longer-term growth.
The latest numbers extend a recovery that was visible in Page Industries’ recent quarters. Reuters reported that the company had already returned to stronger volume growth in the quarter ended March 2026, when sales volumes rose 11% and revenue climbed 14.1%, driven by premiumisation and demand recovery. Earlier results in 2024 also showed modest gains in profit and revenue, underscoring how closely the business remains tied to consumer spending patterns in innerwear and athleisure.
