Mahamaya Steel shares cool after testing key resistance as momentum shifts

Mahamaya Steel Industries drew attention after its shares approached a key technical resistance level, but later market snapshots showed a sharp pullback from the highs highlighted by Trade Brains.

Mahamaya Steel Industries has been drawing attention after Trade Brains noted that the stock was trading close to a key resistance band, a chart level traders often watch for clues about whether a rally can extend or stall. In the article, the steel maker’s shares were said to have closed at Rs1,423.80, above the previous finish of Rs1,356, with the move placing the stock near a technically important ceiling.

The company, based in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, has been in business since 1988 and was formerly known as Rajesh Strips. According to company information and market profiles, Mahamaya Steel makes structural steel products including beams, channels, angles, joists, girders and railway sleeper bars for customers in construction, railways, automobiles and power. Its own website says the group operates from Raipur with a structural steel unit and a steel melting shop, and supplies major industrial clients including Reliance Industries, Indian Railways and metro projects.

Later market snapshots suggest the share price had already cooled from the level highlighted by Trade Brains. StockAnalysis reported the NSE-listed stock at Rs1,355 on 10 September 2026, then at Rs1,274.40 on the same platform’s company page and Rs1,182.50 on 1 October 2026. That pullback does not change the broader point of the original chart view, but it does show how quickly momentum in mid-cap industrial stocks can shift once a resistance level is tested. Company records also show Mahamaya reported revenue of Rs882.85 crore for the year ended 31 March 2025, with net profit of Rs8.72 crore and EBITDA of Rs23.65 crore.
