Antala Industries wins BSE SME approval for 46.80 lakh-share IPO

The Rajkot-based packaging maker plans to raise funds for new plant and machinery, working capital and corporate purposes after receiving approval to list on the BSE SME platform.

Antala Industries has cleared a key regulatory hurdle for its planned initial public offering, with the Rajkot-based packaging maker receiving approval to proceed with a listing on the BSE SME platform on October 14, 2026. The company, which supplies industrial and commercial packaging products, is preparing a book-built issue of up to 46.80 lakh equity shares, according to the announcement carried by PNN and later reported by Tribune India.

The company said it intends to direct part of the proceeds towards expanding its manufacturing set-up, including Rs.5.89 crore for new plant and machinery at its existing facility. Another Rs.10.68 crore is earmarked for working capital, while the balance will go towards general corporate purposes. The investment is designed to raise capacity, improve efficiency and broaden the product range, while the working capital support should help fund inventory and raw material purchases.

According to the company’s IPO disclosures, Antala Industries began as a partnership on April 30, 2021, operating under the name M/s Octagon Industries before converting into a public limited company on August 5, 2024. It produces BOPP laminated bags, BOPP printing and lamination rolls, polypropylene woven bags and related packaging goods used in the food processing, fertiliser, chemical, cement and seed sectors. The company runs an integrated manufacturing unit at Veraval, also known as Shapar, in Rajkot district, where printing, lamination, stitching and finishing are carried out.

The company said its plant had installed annual capacity, as of March 31, 2026, of 495.00 lakh metres for printing, 450 lakh metres for lamination and 507 lakh metres for cutting and stitching. Its direct sales network covers Gujarat, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Rajasthan and Bihar, with Gujarat accounting for the largest share of revenue, followed by Maharashtra. For the year ended March 31, 2026, Antala Industries reported revenue of Rs.47.40 crore and profit after tax of Rs.4.24 crore. It also reported a client retention ratio of 63.14%.

The company says it holds ISO certifications covering quality management, environmental management, food safety and occupational health and safety. Its promoters, Rajeshkumar Antala and Pankajkumar Antala, are described as having nearly three decades of experience in the packaging and woven products business. Vatsa Capital Venture is the sole book-running lead manager for the issue, while Bigshare Services is acting as registrar. IPO tracking platforms also note that the company filed its draft prospectus on August 13, 2026, and that the price band has not yet been announced.
