Abakkus Mutual Fund has achieved a milestone of ₹10,056 crore in assets under management less than a year after launching its first scheme, marking one of the fastest ascents by a new Indian fund house amid rapid investor adoption and disciplined investment strategies.
Abakkus Mutual Fund has crossed ₹10,000 crore in assets under management less than a year after launching its first scheme, marking one of the fastest rises by a new Indian fund house. The milestone reflects the pace at which the firm has gathered assets and investors since its debut in December 2025, when it entered the market with a maiden flexi cap offering.
As of 13 August 2026, the fund house said its AUM stood at ₹10,056 crore, with more than 1.91 lakh investors spread across 2,006 locations and 12,741 pin codes. That compares with roughly ₹5,482 crore in early May, when the company had already passed ₹5,000 crore and 1 lakh investors, showing how quickly the franchise has scaled in a matter of months.
Founded by Sunil Singhania, Abakkus Mutual Fund now runs three equity schemes – Flexi Cap Fund, Small Cap Fund and Large & Mid Cap Fund – alongside a liquid fund. In comments reported by Moneycontrol, chief executive Vaibhav Chugh said the figure mattered less than the confidence shown by investors, distributors and staff, while head of investments and research Sanjay Doshi said the firm’s growth has been powered by disciplined research, risk management and a clear investment process.
The fund house bases that process on its proprietary MEETS framework, an acronym for Management, Earnings, Events, Timing and Structural factors. According to the company, the approach is intended to keep fundamentals at the centre of portfolio construction and to help identify businesses with lasting earnings power at sensible valuations. Abakkus was registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India in August 2025, and Moneycontrol said it is among the newest fund houses to reach ₹10,000 crore in AUM within a year of launch, alongside Jio BlackRock AMC and Bajaj Finserv AMC.
