RapidCanvas raises $29m as investors back AI’s push from pilots to production

RapidCanvas has raised $29m in Series B funding to expand its enterprise AI platform, as BharatPe launches an agentic assistant and investors continue to fund India’s AI and deep-tech startups.

BharatPe has rolled out an agentic AI assistant for business users just as India’s festive shopping rush gathers pace, while a string of startup financings underlined continued investor appetite for artificial intelligence and deep-tech ventures. The most significant deal in the batch came from RapidCanvas, an AI execution company that raised $29 million in a Series B round led by Vertex Ventures SEA & India, with participation from Hitachi Ventures and existing backers including Accel, Peak XV Partners, Valley Capital Partners and Titanium Ventures. According to reports from Livemint and other startup-focused publications, the latest round lifts RapidCanvas’s total funding to $52.5 million and is intended to support sales, partnerships and engineering hires across India, the US and Brazil.

RapidCanvas says its platform is designed to help enterprises move AI projects out of the pilot stage and into day-to-day use, an area that has become a major challenge for companies eager to adopt automation without building large in-house teams. The company has described its approach as a blend of autonomous AI agents and practical implementation support, aiming to make production-grade AI more accessible to customers that need faster deployment and less bespoke infrastructure. Elsewhere in the roundup, space robotics startup Cosmochute secured $1.5 million in pre-seed funding through Accel and Prosus Ventures’ Atoms X programme, while Banaraswala, the Banarsi cuisine brand, raised $2 million from Prax Impex Private Limited to push into new markets, broaden its menu and expand via franchising.
