PointsKash secures a phased capital commitment of up to $100 million from Hawk Capital Investors to scale its kiosk network and digital financial services targeting unbanked consumers, supported by strategic acquisitions and planned platform enhancements.
PointsKash has secured a strategic capital commitment of up to $100 million from Hawk Capital Investors in a deal structured to fund the fintech’s early commercial push before unlocking larger sums for national expansion. The financing is split into two stages, with up to $35 million available through 30 October 2026 and a further $65 million earmarked for February through 30 April 2027 if the company meets agreed operating, commercial and deployment milestones.
The company said the first tranche would help refurbish and roll out about 2,100 KashPoint kiosks, complete technology integrations, widen merchant activation and advance its PK Pay platform. It also wants the money to bolster working capital and prepare the business for a broader US deployment. Hawk’s second-stage funding would support larger-scale kiosk production, installation, field operations, consumer activation and additional platform integration as PointsKash moves from initial commercialisation into a wider rollout.
PointsKash is building a financial commerce network around its kiosks and its planned PK Pay mobile service, offering ATM access, cryptocurrency buying and selling, bill payment, money transfers, check cashing and loyalty rewards. The company says it is targeting unbanked and underbanked consumers while tying physical access points to digital payments and rewards. Its broader push has also included a relationship with BitCorp that it says could open access to more than 100,000 potential enterprise merchant locations, alongside direct talks with convenience retail, hospitality and other high-traffic businesses.
Recent corporate activity suggests PointsKash is trying to scale on several fronts at once. The company said it completed an all-stock acquisition of ChainBytes software assets on 10 July 2026, adding founder and lead developer Eric Grill to its engineering team as it expands work on artificial intelligence tools across its platform. Separately, PointsKash has also disclosed a $30 million stock and convertible debt offering and said it has been adding kiosk sites and pursuing larger merchant groups, underlining the capital intensity of its growth plans.
