The National Institute of Securities Markets and Computer Age Management Services Limited have agreed to bring an artificial intelligence-based regulatory intelligence tool into NISM’s Compliance & RegTech Lab, in a move aimed at giving students and market professionals more hands-on exposure to compliance technology used in India’s capital markets.
Under the collaboration, CAMS Lens will be integrated into the lab’s Regulatory Intelligence module and made available across devices, with additional access for faculty members, according to the two organisations. The arrangement is intended to help users research regulatory requirements and compliance obligations, with a particular focus on intermediaries overseen by the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
NISM has positioned the lab as a technology-led environment for education, training, simulation, research and innovation in financial-market compliance. It already covers tools and systems linked to regulatory technology, risk management, analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning and market surveillance, making the CAMS partnership a natural extension of its broader training agenda.
