MIDASX and MF Utilities India partner to revolutionise mutual fund distribution through AI-driven wealth platform

MIDASX’s exclusive partnership with MF Utilities India aims to expand offerings for mutual fund distributors across India, leveraging AI technology to streamline and scale wealth management services for over 700,000 investors and assets exceeding ₹2.5 lakh crore.

MIDASX has struck an exclusive strategic tie-up with MF Utilities India that will make its multi-asset wealth platform available to mutual fund distributors across the country, according to a company announcement carried by Goodreturns. The partnership is aimed at giving distributors access to a wider range of products, including mutual funds, Indian and overseas equities, corporate fixed deposits, loans against securities, unlisted securities, bonds and market-linked debentures, through a single technology stack.

The companies say the arrangement is meant to help mutual fund distributors broaden their offerings and build larger, more scalable businesses. MIDASX said it already works with more than 2,000 distributors, serves over 700,000 investors and supports assets of more than ₹2.5 lakh crore across 160-plus cities, with activity spread across tier one, tier two and tier three markets. On its website, the firm describes itself as an AI-driven B2B2C platform that combines digital tools, product distribution and client management services for financial intermediaries.

Aakash Bansal, chief executive of MIDASX, said the next phase of wealth creation in India would depend on helping distributors use technology to extend trusted relationships across more products and geographies. Ganesh Ram, managing director and chief executive of MF Utilities India, said the mutual fund distributor community is playing a growing role in widening participation in financial markets, and that the collaboration brings together AI-led tools and distribution capabilities for mutual fund and systematic investment plan products.

The tie-up also comes as MIDASX deepens its wider distribution network. The company says it is the exclusive strategic and technology partner to MACG, a collective representing more than 50 mutual fund distributor associations. MIDASX has raised ₹35 crore so far from family offices and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and is seeking another ₹200 crore to fund expansion. Its broader platform includes a white-label app, client onboarding tools, portfolio management features, a business dashboard and an AI suite designed to help intermediaries spot gaps in portfolios and act faster on growth opportunities.
