Meon accelerates digital onboarding with new Aadhaar eSign platform for Indian businesses

Meon launches an advanced Aadhaar-based eSign platform aimed at reducing paperwork and streamlining approval processes for Indian startups and enterprises, supporting high-volume workflows and seamless integration.

Meon is pitching its Aadhaar eSign platform as a way for Indian businesses to move away from paper-heavy approval processes and complete routine signing tasks electronically. The company says the service is designed for agreements, KYC forms, onboarding documents, contracts and other business paperwork, with compliance built around applicable Indian rules.

According to Meon’s own product pages, the system supports a range of workflows, including individual and bulk signing, sequential and parallel approvals, document tracking and audit trails. The company also says businesses can connect the service to their own applications through APIs, allowing signing steps to sit inside existing customer onboarding or internal workflow systems.

Meon says its broader electronic signature offering goes beyond Aadhaar-based signing and includes type, draw and upload options, alongside reusable templates, branding controls, signing-order settings and status tracking. The company says the platform is used by more than 2,000 businesses and is intended for startups, small and medium-sized enterprises and larger groups that want to reduce paperwork and speed up contract completion.

The company also promotes a developer-focused Aadhaar eSign API for use in CRMs, enterprise resource planning systems, onboarding portals and other workflow tools. Meon says the API is built for high-volume use and is supported by documentation, testing tools and webhook integration. The company positions the broader suite as a digital identity and workflow automation offering for sectors including banking, insurance, real estate, HR and fintech, as organisations in India continue to digitise onboarding and compliance processes.
