The Indian payments technology group increased revenue by 30% to $75m as it expanded overseas and invested in AI tools, but reported a $10m net loss.
Juspay is pushing further into overseas markets while stepping up investment in artificial intelligence, as the Bengaluru-based payments technology company broadens its ambitions beyond its core transaction-processing business. The group said its international payments arm is gaining traction and that it is betting on AI-driven products to help create new revenue streams for enterprise customers. According to the company, it processed 400 million transactions a day, served more than 500 enterprises and banks, and handled an annualised total payment volume of more than $1tn.
That scale has come alongside a wider product push. Juspay is developing a set of AI tools aimed at enterprise operations and what it describes as agentic commerce, where software can help carry out more of the shopping and payment journey. Its products include Xyne, an open-source enterprise AI platform; Breeze Buddy, a no-code system for voice-based conversational workflows; Breeze Universal, which is designed to support agentic shopping; and Juspay Genius, which applies AI to payment operations. The company says Xyne is intended to let organisations build AI agents using their own business context while retaining control over their data.
The latest figures from Juspay show that this expansion is coming with a short-term hit to earnings. Revenue for the year to 31 March 2026 rose 30% in rupee terms to ₹664 crore, or $75m, the company said. That was up from $61m in the previous financial year and $39m in FY24. Over the two-year period, that points to strong compounding growth, even as the business moved deeper into international expansion and AI development.
Juspay reported a net loss of $10m, although it said adjusted EBITDA came in at $4m after stripping out non-cash employee stock option costs. The company said its domestic payments business in India remained profitable through the year, but that heavier spending on AI and overseas growth weighed on the bottom line. Founded in 2012, Juspay became a unicorn in January 2026 and now employs more than 1,500 payments specialists across offices in San Francisco, Dublin, São Paulo, Singapore and Dubai. Its customer list includes Agoda, Amazon, Decathlon, Flipkart, Google, HSBC, IKEA, IndiGo, LATAM Airlines, Recurly, super.money, Swiggy, Wego, Zepto and Zurich Insurance.
