Indifly Ventures has taken a strategic stake in CGreen, aiming to expand AI-powered loan resolution solutions across India’s underserved regions, enhancing recovery efficiency and borrower insights.
Indifly Ventures has taken a strategic stake in CGreen, backing a business that uses artificial intelligence, voice tools and field intelligence to help lenders manage overdue loans more effectively across Bharat. The deal is intended to widen CGreen’s technology reach, deepen its on-ground resolution network and extend its presence in Tier 3 markets and smaller centres, where collections infrastructure remains patchy. Indifly describes itself as a venture builder focused on financial services, commerce and digital access, while CGreen says it is building loan-resolution systems designed for lenders operating in underserved markets.
The investment comes as India’s collections market is increasingly moving towards software-led recovery models. Recent funding rounds for CredResolve and Rezolv show that investors are beginning to back companies that combine automation, multilingual outreach and lender-facing workflow tools rather than relying solely on traditional calling operations. CGreen’s pitch is similar, but with a stronger emphasis on borrower intelligence and field execution, aiming to give lenders a clearer picture of why an account has slipped into default before they decide on the next step.
According to CGreen’s website, the company already works with more than 29 lending institutions and manages more than 3 lakh borrowers, with assets under management of over ₹1,350 crore. It says its model uses recorded borrower interactions, voice AI, structured workflows and its Pragati Kendra network to separate cases involving inability to pay from those involving unwillingness to pay. That distinction is central to its claim that lenders can make more proportionate and better-informed recovery decisions.
For Indifly, the move fits a broader strategy of investing in infrastructure businesses that can scale across India’s digital economy. The venture builder says it partners with founders through its inCORE operating ecosystem rather than acting as a passive investor, and that it is focused on businesses that can improve access, efficiency and inclusion. For CGreen, the fresh backing should help it expand its AI capabilities, strengthen its borrower-intelligence tools and widen its reach among banks, NBFCs, MFIs and fintech lenders.
