Pune-based Invisel raises ₹4 crore in a funding round led by IAN Angel Fund, aiming to expand its invisible protective coatings beyond India, enhance manufacturing, and launch new products and markets including the UAE.
Invisel has raised ₹4 crore in a funding round led by IAN Angel Fund, with participation from BeyondSeed and FAAD Capital, as the Pune-based start-up looks to expand its nano coating business beyond India. The investment is the company’s first external capital after a period of bootstrapped growth, according to the company and the announcement from Indian Angel Network.
Founded by Atharva Ulangwar and Sumedh Yeolekar, Invisel sells invisible protective coatings designed to stop stains, hard water marks and ordinary surface damage before they set in. The products can be applied in minutes without specialist help and are marketed for use on glass, marble, tiles, fabric, leather and metal. The company says the aim is to shift home care away from reactive cleaning and towards prevention.
Invisel says it has served more than 60,000 customers across 900-plus pin codes and posted ₹5.2 crore in revenue in FY26 while remaining profitable. Alongside its direct-to-consumer business, it works with institutional buyers, including furniture original equipment manufacturers, and provides professional application services in several cities. Its coatings are positioned as lasting 6 to 12 months per application.
The fresh funding will support a manufacturing and research facility in Pune, as well as product development, consumer marketing and overseas expansion. Invisel plans to grow its service network from 3 cities to 12, enter the UAE later this year and launch five new product categories. The deal also highlights continued investor interest in early-stage consumer and deep-tech businesses, with IAN Angel Fund describing itself as a backer of startups that benefit from capital, mentorship and market access.
