The Ajman Department of Human Resources has organised a financial awareness workshop aimed at improving personal financial habits among government workers, reflecting a broader push to support family stability and workforce resilience.
The Ajman Department of Human Resources has held a financial awareness workshop for government employees as part of its wider effort to support family stability and improve quality of life. The session, titled “Start Your Investment,” was delivered by financial consultant Ali Al Hamid and focused on building better personal money habits, including saving, investing and planning ahead.
According to the department, the workshop was designed to help employees make more informed financial decisions and understand how to grow savings in line with their goals and means. It also examined ways to prepare for future needs while managing risk, with the aim of easing financial pressure and encouraging a more balanced approach between present expenses and long-term security.
The initiative fits into Ajman’s broader human resources strategy, which has increasingly combined workforce development with social support. In recent months, the emirate has also used career fairs and open days to connect Emirati jobseekers with employers in the public and private sectors, underlining a policy focus on Emiratisation and stronger labour-market access for national talent.
By extending support beyond the workplace itself, the department is signalling that employee welfare is not limited to job performance. The workshop reflects a view that financial literacy can be part of public-sector wellbeing policy, helping workers and their families cope better with living costs and strengthening personal resilience.
