UBS AG has converted 20.5 million warrants into a 4.8% holding in 360 ONE WAM, deepening the global bank’s exposure to India’s wealth management sector and helping push the company’s shares higher.
UBS AG has become a 4.8% shareholder in 360 ONE WAM after exercising all 20,502,939 warrants allotted to it, a transaction that helped lift the wealth manager’s shares in early trade on Thursday. The stock rose as much as 2% during the session before settling higher, as investors weighed the significance of a global banking group deepening its exposure to one of India’s better-known wealth and asset managers.
The warrants were first allotted on a preferential basis in July 2025, with UBS paying 25% of the exercise price at that stage and the remaining 75% now to complete the conversion. In securities markets, warrants give an investor the right to buy shares at a pre-agreed price within a set period, and the latest move leaves UBS with a meaningful minority position in the company, which manages assets worth more than ₹9 lakh crore, according to Rediff Money and other market reports.
The shareholding update came shortly after 360 ONE WAM declared a second interim dividend of ₹7.50 per share for financial year 2026-27. The board fixed Friday, October 23, 2026, as the record date for determining eligible shareholders, and urged investors to ensure their bank details were up to date so the payout could be made electronically.
The company’s latest results also offered a mixed picture. 360 ONE WAM said consolidated profit after tax for the September quarter was ₹302 crore, while revenue rose 4.8% year on year to ₹853 crore. Reuters-style market reports based on the company’s filing also noted that revenue from operations climbed 17.5% to ₹896 crore and that annual recurring revenue increased 27.5% to ₹706 crore, supported by growth in both wealth and asset management.
