The payment-terminal subsidiary is hiring for hundreds of roles as it expands into POS services and tools designed to manage more of merchants’ day-to-day operations.
TossPlace, the Toss subsidiary that supplies payment terminals and point-of-sale, or POS, solutions, is embarking on its first large-scale open recruitment since the company was founded. Ajunews reported that the hiring drive runs until October 31 and will cover a three-digit number of roles across the organisation.
The company is seeking applicants in business and sales, data, design, engineering, finance, marketing, human resources, product, security and strategy. TossPlace said there are no limits on career stage or years of experience, meaning both recent graduates and seasoned professionals can apply. It has also removed a previous six-month restriction on reapplying, and candidates may submit applications to other Toss affiliates at the same time.
The recruitment process will begin with document screening and continue through job interviews, a culture-fit interview and reference checks. Depending on the role, applicants may also be asked to submit a portfolio, complete an assignment or sit a coding test. Applications are being accepted through the TossPlace recruitment website.
The hiring push reflects TossPlace’s broader effort to deepen its presence in offline payments and store management. The company is expanding beyond its payment terminal, Toss Front, into POS services and customer management tools, signalling ambitions to cover more of the day-to-day operations of physical merchants. Publicly available guides on TossPlace’s own support pages also show the range of its existing services, from POS installation requirements across Windows PCs, Android tablets, iPads and MacBooks to device connectivity and discount-settlement functions, underlining the company’s move towards a wider retail operating platform.
According to a TossPlace representative quoted by Ajunews, the aim is to move beyond being seen simply as a payment terminal business and to redesign every point of contact inside offline stores. The representative also said the company is looking for people who enjoy new challenges, regardless of job type or seniority.
