CCAvenue expands contactless payment options with Apple Pay integration

CCAvenue has incorporated Apple Pay into its merchant network, enhancing contactless payment options across in-store, in-app, and online transactions and reinforcing its position as a comprehensive payments infrastructure provider.

CCAvenue has added Apple Pay to its merchant network, giving businesses that use the payment gateway another way to take contactless payments from customers on Apple devices. According to a report by ANI published by ETBFSI, the service now covers in-store, in-app and online transactions, with the aim of making checkout quicker and more convenient for shoppers. The move also fits with CCAvenue’s wider position as a payments infrastructure provider rather than just a checkout tool.

The company says its platform already serves merchants in sectors including retail, travel, real estate, telecommunications, government, utilities, hospitality, education and healthcare, and supports cards, net banking, wallets, UPI and EMI payments. Information on CCAvenue’s own website shows that it also offers multi-currency processing, smart routing and mobile payment tools, while its associates page points to partnerships with financial institutions, payment networks and technology partners that help broaden its payments stack.

The Apple Pay integration comes after CCAvenue used the Global FinTech Fest in August 2026 to present its latest payment technology, including work around autonomous commerce and security-led payment experiences. Taken together, the announcements suggest the company is continuing to push into newer payment methods as merchants look for simpler ways to serve customers across physical and digital channels.
