CleverChain joins NVIDIA Inception to turbocharge AI-driven financial crime compliance

CleverChain has been accepted into NVIDIA’s global start-up programme, gaining access to advanced developer tools and support to enhance its AI-powered compliance software for financial institutions.

CleverChain has been accepted into NVIDIA Inception, the chipmaker’s global start-up programme for companies working on artificial intelligence and accelerated computing, giving the RegTech business access to developer tools, technical support and training as it builds out its compliance software. NVIDIA says the initiative is designed to help younger companies identify new AI opportunities, refine their products and scale more effectively.

According to CleverChain’s announcement and NVIDIA’s programme pages, membership also includes preferential pricing on selected hardware and software, plus access to partner offers and a wider network of investors and technology firms. NVIDIA describes Inception as a free programme that supports start-ups at different stages of growth, and the company has said the network now spans more than 40,000 technology firms worldwide.

CleverChain develops AI-driven tools for financial crime compliance, with a focus on customer due diligence, Know Your Business and Know Your Customer checks, adverse media screening, ownership analysis and ongoing risk monitoring. The company says its platform is built to help compliance teams navigate complex corporate structures, surface relevant risks and produce structured findings that can be traced back to evidence, while keeping human oversight in place.

The move reflects a broader push by RegTech firms to automate labour-intensive compliance work without removing accountability from regulated decision-making. In the company’s telling, the NVIDIA partnership should help it improve the speed and consistency of due diligence for banks and other regulated businesses, while preserving the auditability that supervisors expect.
