OmniCard’s modular fintech platform accelerates adoption as Indian companies streamline payments and controls

OmniCard reports rapid growth of its configurable business fintech platform, supporting over 22 lakh cards and serving more than 1,000 enterprises to replace fragmented spend tools with a unified system for payments and expense management.

OmniCard says its business fintech platform is gaining faster traction as Indian companies move away from a patchwork of spend tools and towards a single configurable system for payments, controls and expense management. The Noida-based firm said the platform now supports more than 22 lakh cards, has 45 lakh downloads and serves over 1,000 businesses, ranging from fast-growing start-ups and MSMEs to established enterprise brands.

The company is pitching the product as a modular operating system rather than a fixed software package. Abhishek Saxena, managing director, chief executive and co-founder, said the aim is to map how money actually moves through a business, whether that involves branches, fleets, field staff or employee benefits, and then assemble the relevant products and controls from one platform. OmniCard says customers often begin with one use case and expand into several once the system is in place.

Its suite includes expense management, corporate cards linked to UPI and RuPay, employee payment automation, paperless reimbursements, fleet payments, benefits management, rewards and branch-level petty cash controls. The company says the platform runs across interoperable rails such as UPI, RuPay, FASTag and BBPS, with an AI layer that can flag anomalies, issue alerts and generate forecasts. OmniCard also says the system integrates with enterprise software including SAP, Zoho and Tally.

Abhinav Saxena, co-founder and chief operating officer and chief technology officer, said the architecture is wallet-native, API-first and composable, allowing new use cases to be added through configuration rather than fresh implementation work. The company says customers have reported as much as 20% month-on-month savings on travel and petty cash spending, along with a 50% reduction in reconciliation time across large store networks. OmniCard is now inviting HRMS and payroll providers, benefits consultants, staffing firms, banks and ERP companies to distribute its modules through API partnerships.
