Fifteen stocks across sectors such as city gas, railways, media, and technology are scheduled to trade ex-dividend on Tuesday, August 18, with total payouts exceeding Rs 74 per share, highlighting a significant corporate cash return event.
Fifteen stocks are set to trade ex-dividend on Tuesday, August 18, according to the BSE calendar, with payouts spanning companies from city gas and railways to media and technology. The list includes Mahanagar Gas, Rail Vikas Nigam, Route Mobile and Sun TV Network, and the combined declared dividend amounts come to Rs 74.24 per share.
Mahanagar Gas stands out with a final dividend of Rs 18 a share, while Bombay Oxygen Investments has announced the largest payout in the group at Rs 25 a share. Other notable names on the list include India Gelatine & Chemicals, which declared Rs 6 a share, Sun TV Network with an interim dividend of Rs 5 a share, and Route Mobile with a final dividend of Rs 2 a share. The companies on the ex-dividend list also include ECOS (India) Mobility & Hospitality, Elixir Capital, NGL Fine Chem, Rossell India, Sodhani Academy of Fintech Enablers, Seshaasai Technologies, Syrma SGS Technology and Vasundhara Rasayans.
Rail Vikas Nigam’s final dividend of Rs 0.71 a share is also scheduled to go ex-dividend on August 18. Moneycontrol shows that the company last declared that payout on 25 May 2026, while The Economic Times lists the same ex-date, underscoring its continued use of cash returns alongside project execution in the rail sector. Mahanagar Gas has also maintained a steady dividend record in recent years, according to Moneycontrol’s dividend history.
Beyond dividends, August 18 will also see other corporate actions. Industrial Investment Trust has a buyback scheduled, while Kirloskar Pneumatic Company will trade ex-split as it moves to a face value of Rs 1 from Rs 2 a share.
