Suralink enhances its Agent Library with AI-driven tools like a Document Pre-Screen Agent, aiming to streamline audit engagements by catching missing or incorrect documents earlier and reducing manual checks for accounting firms.
Suralink has expanded its Agent Library with a set of AI tools aimed at reducing manual work in audit engagements, including a Document Pre-Screen Agent that checks client-uploaded files against an original request before they reach a reviewer. The company says the system is designed to help firms catch missing or incorrect documents earlier in the process, cutting down on back-and-forth with clients and speeding up engagement timelines.
According to Suralink, the Agent Library sits inside its broader cloud testing suite, which combines document review, sample testing and tie-out into a single workflow. Alongside the pre-screening tool, the platform includes a Data Vouching Agent that automates sample testing as soon as a client provides the requested material. Suralink says these tools are intended to reduce repetitive checks and make it easier for teams to manage larger workloads without adding unnecessary friction.
The company positions the platform as an end-to-end request-to-review system for accounting firms, with features such as request list management, secure file sharing, e-signatures and AI-powered search. Its website says more than 1,200 firms use the platform. Suralink also argues that the software improves client collaboration by giving firms faster feedback on document accuracy and a clearer path through the audit cycle.
The move reflects a wider push by accounting technology providers to use agentic automation, a term for software that can perform defined tasks with limited human intervention while leaving final judgment to professionals. Suralink says its tools are meant to support, not replace, audit staff by handling routine screening and testing earlier in the process. That pitch is likely to resonate with firms looking to save time, tighten controls and reduce the rework that can slow down filings and reviews.
