Khazanchi Jewellers reports a 45.2% rise in quarterly income, nearly doubling EBITDA, as its flagship Chennai showroom bolsters retail momentum and drives ambitious growth forecasts for FY27.
Khazanchi Jewellers has started FY27 with a sharp rise in earnings, buoyed by stronger activity in both wholesale and retail channels and a positive response to its flagship showroom in Chennai. The BSE SME-listed jeweller said its unaudited results for the quarter to 30 June showed total income of ₹586.36 crore, up 45.2% from ₹403.84 crore a year earlier.
Profitability improved even faster. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation climbed to ₹39.98 crore, almost double the previous year’s ₹21.15 crore, while net profit rose 83.66% to ₹27.83 crore. Margins also widened, with EBITDA margin reaching 6.82% and PAT margin rising to 4.75%, suggesting that the company is benefiting from a stronger mix and better operating leverage.
The company said the quarter reflected the momentum it had expected after launching its flagship showroom, which it said has been well received by customers and has helped deepen its retail footprint. Khazanchi Jewellers, which trades in gold, diamonds, precious stones and bullion products, said it will continue to focus on product expansion, customer engagement and broader market reach as it works towards migration from the SME platform to the main boards of BSE and NSE.
The latest quarter follows a strong FY26, when the company reported total income of ₹2,051.02 crore and PAT of ₹89.42 crore. Separate market reports said management has linked recent growth to a richer product mix, higher transaction values and rising retail footfall, while also pointing to plans to expand its store network and move towards a larger national presence. Another report said the company has guided for 25% to 30% growth in FY27, supported by internal funding and continued expansion in both B2B and B2C segments.
