Technocraft Ventures stocks surge over 34% on debut amid strong investor interest

Technocraft Ventures’ initial share listing on the BSE and NSE saw shares rally over 34%, driven by robust demand and a well-received ₹251.88 crore IPO, signalling strong investor confidence in India’s infrastructure sector.

Technocraft Ventures made a striking market debut on Friday, with its shares listing at a healthy premium before extending gains in early trade. On the BSE, the stock opened at ₹285, about 34% above the issue price, while on the NSE it began at ₹284, also roughly 34% higher. The rally did not stop there: the share price climbed further to ₹314, leaving investors with a gain of about ₹100 per share on the day.

The debut capped a well-received public offer of ₹251.88 crore, priced at ₹212 a share. According to subscription data reported by Moneycontrol and IPOTracker, the issue drew bids for 38.69 times the shares on offer. Demand was strongest among non-institutional investors, whose portion was subscribed 65.06 times, followed by qualified institutional buyers at 42.26 times and retail investors at 25.35 times. Before the issue opened, the company also raised ₹75.55 crore from anchor investors on 6 August.

Technocraft Ventures describes itself as a public infrastructure development company focused on turnkey engineering, procurement and construction projects, with an emphasis on northern India and work for state governments and government agencies. The company reported revenue of ₹347 crore in financial year 2026, up 23% from ₹281 crore a year earlier, while net profit rose 54% to ₹43.32 crore from ₹28.20 crore. It said the IPO proceeds would be used partly to reduce debt and support broader corporate needs, as the business carried borrowings of ₹89.76 crore during the year.
